John Ou Productions is a digital multitrack production facility operating out of thebasementnyc studios in Manhattan, New York.

We specialize in recording small to mid-sized projects from pre-production to mastering at affordable rates for the working musician. Our engineers are well versed in multiple genres and have recorded various projects from Broadway, classical, jazz, rock, and pop to commercial audio books for major publishers. The studio is well equipped the latest digital recording technology and audio hardware to handle the client's needs for any type of recording and satisfaction is guaranteed.

Robin is an award winning engineer and producer who has been involved in the music business for the past 24 years as both a studio and live audio engineer. A graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston and a former manager at Mark of the Unicorn (a leading pro audio software and hardware company), Robin has worked around Boston and New York and has worked for a variety of clients from major labels to independent artists. A musician himself, Robin brings a wealth of musical experience and a keen sense of production to the projects he works on. His past clients have included Dream Theater, Jordan Rudess, Konami (Japan), and BBC America.
